Your Pets

We are happy, by prior arrangement, for you to bring along your well behaved pets for a charge of £35 per pet per week. We do have a separate policy for pets so please inform us of your intention and we will forward to you the policy.

One of the many advantages of visiting any of our Gites is the flexibility that it offers and if you have a pet passport, your family dog doesn't need to miss out on the action!

We are also pet owners and are very happy for you to bring along your pets. A perfect holiday is one that all the family enjoy together – pets included.

For many dogs, a holiday with their owners offers a rare opportunity for quality time with the family. Leaving the usual routine behind, a cottage offers all the home comforts, without the daily grind that we live with at home. We know that dogs are a mirror for human behaviour – meaning that a relaxed owner equals a relaxed hound.

Your dog needs to be treated for tapeworm, ‘not less than 24 hours and not more than 120 hours (1-5 days) before the scheduled time of your return crossing. We have a very good, English speaking vet that is local to us who will do this for you.

House Rules

Permitted dogs are to be fully house trained.  Dogs must not be left unattended in the cottage at any time. When out of the cottage the dog must be on a lead and under the control of a responsible adult at all times. As we have free range chickens and ducks your understanding of this is much appreciated. We do apologise for this but as we have lost animals in the past we are doing our utmost to prevent this happening again.

The client must clear up after the dog promptly and dispose of bagged waste in an exterior bin. The client is responsible for any damage caused by their dog and liable to reimburse the owner for any replacement or repair thereby necessitated.

The owners reserve the right to terminate the contract if the behaviour of the client's dog is considered unacceptable.
